There was a time when the AWO was ruled by one man. A man who was nigh untouchable in the ring. A man who ended his reign not in a huge championship match, but by handing his title away, and leaving the federation behind him. Or so we've been led to believe. But think, for a moment, about another startling possibility. Think about the possibility that Cheap Shot, known to those who knew him as Gruffs McKee, and those who knew him better still as Pete Whelan, did not leave of his own free will. What if Cheap Shot was... (*realises the title of this post totally takes away the need to capitalise this, but will anyway*) KIDNAPPED!!!
Yes, indeed, the very thought of our former World Champion bound and gagged seems hard to take. And the thought of Bond being the man to do it is even harder to imagine. But is it really so hard? Let's look at the facts:
The evidence is clear. And while we know Bond is behind the disappearance of Cheap Shot, there's still little we can do about it. All we can really do is pray for Cheap Shot. Pray that one day, he'll make it out. Pray that he'll get away from Bond's evil clutches. And when that day comes, he shall return, and look down upon us like the wrestling God that he is, to exact vengeance on the man who wanted too much and gave too little in return... Chris Bond.
Yes, indeed, the very thought of our former World Champion bound and gagged seems hard to take. And the thought of Bond being the man to do it is even harder to imagine. But is it really so hard? Let's look at the facts:
- Cheap Shot was a man on top of the world, with nothing in his path. He was already a legend in Sports Entertainment, and only becoming bigger. So what reason to leave?
- When Cheap Shot left, one other person was absent from the AWO. Aryan. Why he was absent? He had been kidnapped by Chris Bond! So there goes any thought that inncocent, Christian, Chris Bond couldn't do it. He can and has.
- Chris Bond has always, always had a creepy admiration of Cheap Shot. It wasn't even a secret. Even when Cheap Shot did nothing but drag his name through the dirt, Bond still stood up for Cheap Shot whenever he had the chance.
- Chris Bond's love of bondage is well documented. And what better way to kidnap his idol, Cheap Shot, then to have him bound and gagged.
Chris Bond.
